From a very rough draft, through lots of rewrites, finding an agent, taking advice and plenty of tweaking and fiddling, I've managed to write my first children's book. It's will become part of a four-part series, to be published by Scholastic. The first book will be on sale in April 2013; its target audience boys and girls aged seven to nine. The books are light-hearted capers, full of colouful characters, set on a normal, suburban street.
